TOWN OF SHELBURNE – ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION The 2025 Annual Town Election was held from 10am -8pm on Tuesday, May 20th, at the Cowell Gymnasium, 51 Maple St., Shelburne, MA. Of the 1563 registered voters in the Town of Shelburne, 166 voters came out to vote at this year’s Annual Town Election, for a voter turnout of 10.5% The candidates receiving the most votes in the position they ran for are as follows. Note: All elected positions are subject to acceptance by the candidate receiving the most votes. - Selectboard (1) - Rodney McBride for three year term – 138 votes -Town Clerk (1) – Joseph Judd for one year term – 157 votes - Moderator (1) – Roland Giguere for one year term – 144 votes - Planning Board (1) – T. Wilson Flanders for five year term – 147 votes - Shelburne Free Public Library Trustees (2) – Tom Webler - 147 votes and Michael Sokolovsky – 126 votes for three year terms - Recreation Committee (1) – Diana Hardina for five year term – 151 votes -Tree Warden (1) – Garth LaPointe for one year term – 144 votes - Constable (1) – James Stacy for three year term – 147 votes
Elected positions that appeared on the ballot with no candidate, but receiving write in votes. Assessor (1) -– James Bragdon for 3 year term - 39 votes Mohawk Trail School Committee (1) – Maya Winfrey for three year term - 35 votes Recreation Committee (1) Daniel Post for three year unexpired term – 2 votes Recreation Committee (1) – Failure to elect Planning Board (1) – Geoff Stack for one year unexpired term – 57 votes
