Return to Open Space Committee
The Open Space Committee carries out the action plan mandated by the Town through the Open Space and Recreation Plan adopted in 2004 and updated in 2024 by the Town. The Shelburne Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP) provides a framework for decisions dealing with land use, natural systems, and the lands that contain unique forest, agricultural, historical, recreational and scenic values. Massachusetts has extended the plan from a 7 year to a 10 year plan.
