PURPOSE:
The purpose of the meeting is to provide the public with an opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed safety improvements project. All views and comments made at the hearing will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible. The funds for this project will be acquired Grant Central Small Bridge program totaling $382,000.
PROPOSAL:
The proposed safety improvements project will be the repair of Bridge # S-11-011 on Shelburne Center Road over Dragon Brook. This is Phase 2 of the Small Bridge Program. Work is set to begin the end of June 2026 and be completed by November 2026. This project will strive to enhance and retain the beauty of Shelburne.
All work on this project will be performed within existing right of ways and all abutters will be notified via town website and U.S. Postal Service.
