MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to protect the lives, property and the environment of the Town of Shelburne by preparing for, responding to, and recovering from natural and man-made disasters as well as acts of terrorism. Through comprehensive risk assessment, proactive planning, public education and interagency collaboration we commit to implementing effective emergency management practices that ensure our community’s resilience and safety. We strive to provide a coordinated, prompt and compassionate response to emergency situations; aiming to minimize the impact of disasters on our citizens while fostering a culture of preparedness within our town.
